Garbage: The Card Game does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no trackers. The app works entirely on your device and does not send anything anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect any personal data. Specifically, the app does not:

ask you to create an account or sign in;
ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location;
contain advertising or advertising trackers;
use analytics or crash-reporting services;
include any third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data;
send any data over the internet.

Information stored on your device

To let you keep playing where you left off, the app saves a few things locally on your device only, using your device's private storage:

your in-progress or saved game;
your local leaderboard (wins and best games);
your settings (color theme, wild-card choice, and placement mode);
the names you type for players.

This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and it is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. If you delete the app, this information is removed with it.

Children's privacy

Garbage: The Card Game is family-friendly and suitable for children. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects no personal information from children. It fully complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws — there is simply no data collection to be concerned about.

Internet and permissions

The app does not require an internet connection to play and does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.

If this policy ever changes, we will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Since the app collects no data, we do not expect meaningful changes.
